Google Page Speed Test On Australian Websites

Well, its been a little while since I wrote up a post and sent through a good video. This ones going to be a little more special with some fun to be had in the beginning (see the Need for Site Speed video). Some serious points towards the middle (Google Page Speed Test) and finishing off with something very different, a charitable cause.
Will be keeping the content part of this post as the majority of informative resides within the attached fun video.
OK, so the main purpose of this post and video is to bring to your attention that Google released. Another Google Algorithm update in July 2018, which we have seen impact numerous websites over the past several months. The update was focusing on providing more relevance and importance to page speed load times for websites. The update had a majority of it’s focus in page speed load times on mobile devices.

I recommend that you contact your hosting provider and work with them to optimise your website. So that it has a page speed load time of less than 3 seconds.
While 3 seconds was not mentioned in the Webmasters article. It is the number that I have seen thrown around by numerous other experts in the industry. Even Google themselves have mentioned that 3 second figure. Feel free to watch the above video where I briefly touch on what needs to be completed.
